Alzira's a 20 year old elf who doesn't know her biological parents; another family adopted her when she was young. She lived in her village ever since she was little. Once she reached the age of 20, she decided to travel on her own to see the woods outside her village. She brought a pack with her with clothes and other things she would need inside it, along with her sword scabbard at her waist and a quiver of arrows that hung across her right shoulder that extended to her left side. She carried a bow with her that she either held at her side or carried it on her right shoulder when she was tired of carrying it. She had long white hair that she either had down hanging across her shoulders, up in a pony tail or in a long braid. She wore a teal top with lighter green pants and a cloak that matched. Her eyes were a pretty sky blue color and her skin was a bit pale. She avoided going through villages as much as possible because people in them might look at her funny or pretend that she didn't exist if she needed directions somewhere if she got lost. Instead, she traveled along the shoreline and when she rested, she sat on on the beach and watched the waves come in and out. It was then that it all started.
She was sitting on a beach enjoying the waves and the calm water, when she heard running and the sound of a horse. She quickly packed up the blanket that she was sitting on and went up to where the grass started to turn to rock against the cliffside. Once she was at the top, she saw a man running from a scary looking creature that looked like its flesh was falling off its face and elsewhere. The steed that it was riding looked no better than its rider and had red glowing eyes. Sort of like it was demonic in some way. She then yelled to the...thing exclaiming, "Hey you, vile demon monster; leave that guy alone!" and then shot it square in the forehead with one of her arrows. The guy that she saved, then told her that they needed to run towards a shed closeby so that he could use his ice powers to seal it in so it couldn't get out.
They ran away from the shed and to a cottage that was closeby and the guy that she saved introduced himself as Rigel and said that the cottage was where all the elementals trained. She asked what help she could be to them since she didn't have any powers of her own and just her bow, quiver and sword. A young girl, named Cinthia, then came up and said that she didn't have any powers either and that she could help by helping to fight with her sword and whatnot. She quickly made friends with another girl who came up who introduced herself as Acela. One person that she didn't really get along with but didn't let her bad attitude get to her, was Leila. She hoped that in the future Leila would get to know her more and be more friendly towards her. Even if she didn't, she wouldn't let her hurt her feelings with her mean attitude or if it did, she wouldn't let it show.
A couple of days later (i think), they had to get on ships to go Faerence. Alzira missed the boat that the others left on and had to get on another ship. She didn't really know what the name of the boat was but that didn't really matter. She sent messages to both Kathryn and Acela to pass the time while on the boat. She enjoyed looking out at the waves, all the wild life that passed by; at night, liked to look out at the water when the moon shone down on it. Although she liked looking out at the water in the daytime and at all the wild life that passed by, she was bored with the same routine day after day. One day, she finally asked a deckhand if there was an archery room somewhere on the boat. He said that there indeed was one and told her the instructions on how to get to it. She took her bow and arrows there every chance she got to practice her archery.
One night when she was in bed, she awoke to having felt a presence above her while she was sleeping. She turned on the light and looked around and saw her shadow on the opposite wall of where she was and where there was a window. She thought that her shadow looked a bit odd being overlapped by something else that had red eyes, so she quickly got out of bed, headed toward her closet where her bow, quiver, and sword were and grabbed her bow and a couple of arrows. She shot the creature in the throat and it let out an infernal cry that was really high-pitched. To shut the thing up, she shot another arrow at it and it went still. Then she heard a knock on her door that was from a passing deckhand and he asked if everything was ok because he heard a reall high-pitched scream. She told him that it wasn't her that screamed but some sort of shadow creature that got into her room somehow and that she killed it so it wouldn't cause any more trouble. She went back to bed after that episode.
She woke to the sound of fighting up on deck so she quickly got dressed, grabbed her bow, quiver and sword and headed up to the deck to help. She killed a lone shadow creature and then attacked a few more from a distance. She then got a bit closer to some and used her sword and helped the remaining sailors and deckhands that weren't injured or dead kill the creatures that were left. She helped get the wounded to the infirmary and then went back to bed for much needed sleep after the attack. She had a few scratches but since they'd heal in a couple of day's time, she wasn't too worried. She awoke and quickly got dressed and gathered up her weapons and headed towards the deck. She had a weird feeling that she was needed up there.
That was when the rp closed on TDL and it's now to where we are on the forum.
